Joe Biden’s visit to L.A. for fundraiser triggers numerous road closures

Vice President Joe Biden’s visit to Los Angeles on Thursday evening to speak at a Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee fundraiser will trigger more than a dozen road closures Thursday and Friday, according to authorities.

Before traveling to Los Angeles, Biden will speak at a campaign event for Hillary Clinton in Las Vegas at the Culinary Workers Union Local 226 hall, according to the White House.

From there, Biden will head to Los Angeles’ Westside to attend the Democratic event at a private home.

Biden will stay overnight in Los Angeles and leave Friday morning.

The following roads and surrounding area will be closed Thursday:

—Pershing Drive between Westchester Parkway and

Imperial Highway from 4 to 5 p.m.

—Imperial Highway between Vista Del Mar and North

Sepulveda Boulevard from 4 to 5 p.m.

—Wilshire Boulevard between South Sepulveda Boulevard

and Malcolm Avenue from 4 to 5:30 p.m.

—Lindbrook Drive/Hilgard Avenue between Westwood

Boulevard and Le Conte Avenue from 4 to 5:30 p.m.

—Hilgard Avenue /Lindbrook Avenue between Le Conte

Avenue and Westwood Boulevard from 6 to 7 p.m.;

—Wilshire Boulevard between Malcolm Avenue and South

Barrington Avenue from 6 to 7:30 p.m.;

—San Vicente Boulevard between Wilshire Boulevard and

21st Street in Santa Monica from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

—San Vicente Blvd. between 21st Street in Santa Monica and Wilshire Boulevard from 8:15 to 9:30 p.m.

—Wilshire Boulevard between South Barrington Avenue

and Malcolm Avenue from 8:15 to 9:45 p.m.

—Lindbrook Drive/Hilgard Avenue between Westwood

Boulevard and Le Conte Avenue from 8:15 to 9:45 p.m.

The following roads will be closed Friday:

—Hilgard Avenue/Lindbrook Avenue between Le Conte

Avenue and Westwood Boulevard from 5:30 to 7 a.m.

—Wilshire Boulevard between Malcolm Avenue and South

Sepulveda Boulevard from 5:30 to 7 a.m.

—Culver Boulevard between the 90 Freeway and Vista Del

Mar from 5:30 to 7:00 a.m.

—Pershing Drive between Culver Boulevard and Imperial

Highway from 5:30 to 7 a.m.
