Jenna Jameson speaks out after battery arrest in Newport Beach

Former porn star Jenna Jameson, who was arrested for allegedly attacking someone at a home in Newport Beach, is speaking out about the incident on Twitter.

Jameson’s alleged victim made a citizen’s arrest at the home in the 100 block of 36th Street about 7:50 p.m. Saturday, said Newport Beach police Lt. Evan Sailor.

The onetime “queen of porn” was later released on her own recognizance and given a court date for a hearing on the misdemeanor battery charge, Sailor said. There were no reported injuries.

On Twitter, Jameson gave a significantly different account of the incident. She claimed a friend broke into her house and robbed her. The friend, she said, “accused me of gusting her.”

It was the second arrest in less than a year for Jameson, 38. In May, she was arrested for driving under the influence after wrapping her Range Rover around a light pole in Westminster.

In that incident, Jameson, whose real name is Jenna Marie Massoli, was charged with three misdemeanor counts, including driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, having a blood-alcohol level over the state legal limit and driving on a suspended license.
