The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department released the names of a 29-year-old man who was stabbed to death in Rowland Heights early Saturday and his alleged attacker.

Benjamin Cervantes died of wounds allegedly inflicted by Albert Camacho, an Ontario resident, said Deputy Irys Alvarez. Camacho was described as the boyfriend of Cervantes’ sister.

“The suspect fled the scene but was arrested and booked for murder,” Alvarez said.

The killing was reported at 1:26 a.m. in the 1400 block of Gloriosa Avenue. Alvarez said detectives determined the two men had gotten into an argument that ended with Camacho stabbing Cervantes several times in the torso.
