Police seeking driver in fatal hit-and-run
Authorities are searching for the driver of a vehicle that struck and killed a bicyclist early Sunday on the westbound offramp of the 10 Freeway near downtown Los Angeles.
Officers found the man lying on the offramp near Alameda Street shortly after 2 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. The unidentified victim appeared to be in his 40s.
The identity of the driver, who apparently fled the scene, is unknown, authorities said. The incident remains under investigation, authorities said.
