Two people, including the gunman, were dead after a shooting at a Vancouver, Wash., business park Monday, authorities said.

The incident took place just before noon at a Benjamin Moore Paint distribution center. The investigation was ongoing, but officials said there was no longer any danger to the public.

“We do not believe there are any outstanding suspects,” police spokeswoman Kim Kapp told the Associated Press. “There is no threat to the general public.”

Kapp told reporters that the gunman killed one person and also died at or near the scene.

Officials were investigating the relationship between the victim and the gunman, who was described as a man in his 60s.

More details of the shooting were not immediately available. “We don’t have a lot confirmed at this point,” Kapp said.

The business is in an industrial park. A nearby elementary school was locked down briefly during the investigation, Kapp said.

Vancouver is located on the north bank of the Columbia River.
