Re “2012: A good year for investors,” Dec. 27

I think that two headlines in The Times’ Business section say it all:

“2012: A good year for investors” and “Stores aim to make up for weak holiday sales.”

The trickle-down economic policy of the last three decades has been a tragic failure. Let’s get back to an economic policy that puts the emphasis on the majority of Americans — the working and middle classes.
