Garden potluck will be held Sunday

The South Laguna Community Garden Park will hold its annual spring fling potluck Sunday.

Guests are asked to bring food to share at the free event, which will run from 3 to 6 p.m. at the garden, located on a quarter-acre parcel at Eagle Rock Way and Coast Highway. Residents tend crops there on more than 50 raised beds.

Donations are welcome, since the South Laguna Civic Assn., the sponsor of the garden which opened in 2009, is raising money in hopes of purchasing land for a permanent garden home.
