A woman who police say burglarized four Orange County jewelry stores last year — including two in Fountain Valley — was arrested Tuesday.

Fountain Valley police detectives arrested Isabel Ochoa, 30, at her home in South El Monte, the department said in a news release.

Police believe she was involved in burglaries at Ballard & Ballard in Fountain Valley, Mimi’s Jewelry in Fountain Valley, Nick’s Jewelers in Fullerton and Diamonds Direct in Laguna Hills.

Fountain Valley police arrested Victor Herrera, 50, of North Hollywood earlier this year in connection with two of the burglaries.

Police said in all four burglaries, entry into the stores was made through the roof and the safes were cut open.

The property has not been recovered, authorities said.

Ochoa was booked into the Orange County Jail, where she is being held on $2 million bail.

Herrera is still in custody awaiting trial.
