Clippers open preseason games Oct. 2 against Denver Nuggets

The Clippers will play six preseason games, the first at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 2 against the Denver Nuggets at Staples Center.

They then play the Toronto Raptors on Oct. 4 at Rogers Arena before heading overseas.

The Clippers will play two games in China, one against the New Orleans Pelicans in Shenzhen on Oct. 11 and a rematch with the Pelicans on Oct. 14 in Shanghai.

Returning home, the Clippers play the defending champion Golden State Warriors at Staples Center at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 20. The Clippers’ final preseason game will be against the Portland Trail Blazers at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 22 at Staples Center.

The Clippers begin regular-season play on the road against the Sacramento Kings at 7 p.m. on Oct. 28, and their home opener is the next night against the Dallas Mavericks at 7:30 p.m.
