Clippers owner Steve Ballmer reportedly turned down a $60-million offer from Fox Sports’ Prime Ticket, according to the New York Post.
Prime Ticket has a deal with the Clippers through the 2015-16 season and currently pays the team $25 million a year.
According to the Post, Ballmer intends to start his own streaming network. If he were to do that, he would be the first owner of a major U.S. sports team to broadcast games over a web-based service instead of a traditional satellite company.
Currently, Prime Ticket airs Clippers games to roughly 5 million homes around Los Angeles.
