The Friday opener against the Mets in the National League Division Series has been scheduled to begin at 6:45 p.m., while Saturday’s Game 2 has a 6:07 p.m. starting time.

The two games are expected to feature outstanding starting pitching, but at least hitters shouldn’t have to battle those 5 p.m. shadows at the stadium.

The series is set to move to New York for Game 3 on Monday.

The Dodgers have not officially announced their starting pitchers for the first two games in Los Angeles, though they are presumed to be Clayton Kershaw (16-7, 2.13 ERA) and Zack Greinke (19-3, 1.66). The Mets said they will start Jacob deGrom (14-8, 2.60) in the opener and Noah Syndergaard (9-7, 3.24) in Game 2.
