Update: The Ducks opted for some off-ice evaluation Thursday after a self-described lack of will and cohesion Wednesday left them winless after scoring one goal in three games. The Ducks have faced good goaltenders but aren’t generating much from prime scoring areas. Ryan Getzlaf and linemate Corey Perry have zero points in their first three games for the first time in four and five years, respectively. Defenseman Clayton Stoner is day-to-day with a lower-body injury, a team official said. Former Ducks defenseman François Beauchemin will return to Anaheim for the first time since he signed with Colorado this summer. The Ducks will unveil a new third jersey.
