Dolphins-Cowboys: Thanksgiving Day 1993

On Nov. 25, 1993, Leon Lett committed a blunder that would go down as one of the most memorable in Thanksgiving Day football history. After Pete Stoyanovich’s fourth-quarter 41-yard go-ahead field goal was blocked, Lett ran and slid, touching the ball and setting off a scramble on the sleet-covered Texas Stadium field. Dolphins’ center Jeff Dellenbach recovered the ball, setting up a Stoyanovich 19-yarder to give Miami a 16-14 win. Here are photos from that day.
