Update: The Ducks have scored one goal in their last two games, and their last even-strength goal came three games ago, in the second period against Chicago on Sunday. Teemu Selanne spoke about the importance of the next three games after Anaheim failed to score against Buffalo goalie Ryan Miller. “Normal situations we could easily score three, four goals. But it was one of those days that the goalie was hot. We have to make sure that the goalies can’t see all the pucks,” Selanne said after practice Thursday. “Just make sure we get quality shots. … It’s not easy and it’s not supposed to be easy. If we can’t look after these [upcoming] games, we don’t deserve it.” Ducks goalie Jonas Hiller, who has made 23 consecutive starts, was given a “maintenance day” on Thursday. The Flames recalled goaltender Leland Irving from their minor league team, and he is expected to start against the Ducks, according to Calgary media.
