Update: The Galaxy looks to keep on rolling this weekend against the San Jose Earthquakes. Los Angeles carries a nine-match unbeaten streak, including a 3-1 win over Colorado on June 18. Midfielder David Beckham unexpectedly missed that match, and will probably sit out Saturday’s because of back spasms. Forward Landon Donovan is also missing from the Galaxy as he plays in the Gold Cup final Saturday with the United States national team. Goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts will rejoin Los Angeles after missing the last three games while on international duty for Jamaica. His return should be welcome after the Galaxy gave up three goals in the last three games.
