Update: The Ducks remain on the cusp of a playoff berth, two points out of the eighth spot going in to this game. Their offense remains potent, with Corey Perry (33 goals, 71 points), Bobby Ryan (31 goals, 58 points), Teemu Selanne (21 goals, 61 points) and red-hot Lubomir Visnovsky (five goals and seven points over the last three games). Goaltender Dan Ellis, meanwhile, has performed well enough while Jonas Hiller deals with vertigo, winning four of the last five games. Colorado has not won since Feb. 22 and is 1-13-2 since the All-Star break.
