Up next for the Lakers: Thursday at Sacramento
Lakers tonight
AT SACRAMENTO
When: 7:30.
Where: Power Balance Pavilion.
On the air: TV: Channel 9; Radio: 710, 1330.
Records: Lakers 41-24, Kings 21-44.
Record vs. Kings: 1-1.
Update: With the Lakers having secured third place in the Western Conference, their lineup could have a hodgepodge feel to it as the team seeks to rest key players before the playoffs. Coach Mike Brown said Devin Ebanks would start at small forward with Metta World Peace beginning his seven-game suspension, and Christian Eyenga could make his Lakers debut more than a month after joining the team in the Ramon Sessions trade. Kobe Bryant’s playing time could hinge on whether he changes his mind about surpassing Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant for the scoring title. Bryant, who trailed Durant by one-tenth of a point as of Wednesday, has said the title is “not very important.”
