The mood at Fenway Park was both somber and festive as the Red Sox completed their series against the Kansas City Royals on Saturday and Sunday.

After honoring the victims in the bombings Saturday, slugger David Ortiz addressed the crowd and later Neil Diamond led them in a rendition of “Sweet Caroline.”
