Jamal Crawford out with a sore right shoulder
ORLANDO -- The Clippers’ injury list added another player its already lengthy list. Clippers super-sub guard Jamal Crawford is not going to play in Wednesday night’s game against the Orlando Magic because of a sore right shoulder.
Crawford initially suffered the injury during the Toronto Raptors game on Friday night.
Crawford suffered a broken nose during that game, but continued to play in the next two Clippers games.
As it turned out, Crawford also injured his shoulder in the game Friday. He was elbowed in the face by Toronto’s Kyle Lowry, who broke Crawford’s nose and injured his shoulder on the play.
The Clippers said Crawford suffered from “whiplash” when he was hit by Lowry.
Crawford now is listed as a game-time decision for the Clippers’ next game against the Heat in Miami on Friday night.
Crawford is second on the team in scoring, averaging 16.9 points per game.
