Watch LeBron James nearly get hit by overpass during Heat parade

LeBron James deserves better.
He’s helped deliver two straight NBA titles to the city of Miami, earning a pair of Finals MVP awards along the way.
You’d think he’d be able to kick back, relax and enjoy another victory parade Monday, riding with his Heat teammates past some 400,000 fans.
But nooooo. Someone forgot to check to see whether the height of an NBA player (very tall) plus that of the double-decker bus King James and his cohorts were riding on might exceed the height of the several overpasses along the parade route.
That forced the two-time league MVP to fight for his life against a constant barrage of oncoming slabs of concrete. He even took it upon himself to shout out warnings for others to duck when another low overpass was coming up. As you can see in the video above, some of them were pretty darn low.
After three NBA titles in the last eight seasons, you’d think the Heat would have this whole victory parade thing down pat by now.
The team should probably be a bit more careful with its superstar. Nothing says, “Thank you for all you’ve done and, by the way, please re-sign with us next summer” like near decapitation.
