Phil Jackson joined the world of Twitter on Wednesday and in about 18 hours he already has more than 100,000 followers.

When news hit that the Zenmaster had a Twitter account, speculation immediately began on what sage information and advice he would give. You just knew it would be something profound. Especially that first tweet. He must have something grand in mind for his first tweet.

Or maybe not.

Consulting my Zen-to-English dictionary, that apparently translates to: 11 championship rings.

What you have to like about it though is that Jackson didn’t delete the tweet and try again. He left it there. That is a sign of a person secure with himself. I guess winning 11 titles and being the greatest coach in NBA history will do that.
