Record vs. Heat: 0-1.

Update: The Lakers could be swept by Miami for the third time in four seasons. Dwyane Wade sat out the last three games because of chronic knee soreness, and it was unclear if he would play against the Lakers. Wade and Chris Bosh each had 23 points when Miami beat the Lakers on Christmas, 101-95. The Lakers trailed by three after three quarters but were undone by a 4½-minute scoring drought in the fourth.
