Update: The Lakers won the last time they were in Memphis, on Dec. 17, but, par for their season, lost Kobe Bryant, who hasn’t played since because of a fractured knee he sustained that night. Memphis is one of the few teams with a better road record (15-10) than home record (16-14). The Grizzlies are ninth in the Western Conference, 11/2 games behind No. 8 Phoenix and within three of sixth-place Golden State.
