Lakers vs. Mavericks wins vote for broadcast on NBA TV’s ‘Fan Night’

Even when the Lakers aren’t favorites, they’re still one of the league’s marquee teams.

The NBA has added Tuesday night’s game between the Lakers and Dallas Mavericks in Dallas to the national NBA TV schedule.

Through NBA.com, fans can vote weekly on which game they’d like to see each Tuesday on “Fan Night.”

The Lakers-Mavericks game received 29% of the most recent vote to beat out Miami-Toronto (28%) and San Antonio-Denver.

The NBA will have 19 “Fan Night” games this season.

The Lakers have 25 scheduled national appearances on TNT, ESPN and ABC, including the opening-night win over the Clippers. With the addition of the “Fan Night” game, the Lakers can also be seen on NBA TV four times this season.

On Friday night, the Lakers play host to the Spurs for a national audience on ESPN.
