Sam Bradford and DeMarco Murray had successful debuts, Kenjon Barber returned another punt for a score, and the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Baltimore Ravens, 40-17, in an exhibition game Saturday night.

Bradford completed three of five passes for 35 yards and led the Eagles (2-0) on an 84-yard drive in his only series. He played his first game since tearing his left anterior cruciate ligament for the second time in 11 months on Aug. 23, 2014.

Bradford survived a late hit by Terrell Suggs, who lowered his helmet and tackled his knees for a roughing penalty. Bradford also took a hard shot from Brandon Williams and appeared shaken up, but stayed in to complete the drive.

Joe Flacco threw interceptions on his first two drives and the rest of the Ravens (1-1) didn’t fare much better against a team they practiced with the previous three days.

Flacco finished three for seven for 23 yards in three series.

Griffin is ‘fine’

Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III was apparently doing well Saturday after leaving Thursday’s preseason game against the Detroit Lions with a concussion.

“Robert’s fine,” Washington tight end Je’Ron Hamm said on a conference call as the Redskins had a second straight off day. “He got a little banged up. I [don’t] like to see any of my teammates down there on the ground, [but] I’m glad to know that he’s going to be all right.”
