Goff had a very productive college career, but he didn’t win at a high level despite being surrounded by talent. Goff needs to add bulk to his narrow frame and develop pocket presence.

Wentz, Lynch, Goff, Cook, Prescott, Penn State’s Christian Hackenburg, Ohio State’s Cardale Jones, Stanford’s Kevin Hogan, Indiana’s Nate Sudfeld and North Carolina State’s Jacoby Brissett (pictured) should all get drafted. But only a couple of them will become decent NFL starters in the next four years.

Ryan Tannehill is entering a make-or-break season with Miami because he’s owed $18 million in 2017, and the Dolphins must opt into the deal or release him. The Dolphins would benefit from drafting a developmental quarterback late in the draft.

Ohio State’s Cardale Jones: A year ago most draft experts projected that Jones would be the third quarterback taken in the 2015 draft, but he stayed at Ohio State for one more season and some flaws were discovered in his game. Jones needs to become a better student of the game, and figure out how to throw the ball with some touch. He could be a solid third-day selection, but Jones wouldn’t be ready to start until Year Two.
