Update: This is the second of three games in the “SuperClasico” regular-season series between the teams, which share a home stadium, and their last match before Major League Soccer’s break for World Cup play. The teams don’t play again until June 28. The Galaxy won the first game between the clubs this year with a 3-0 victory April 6. The Galaxy is coming off a 1-1 tie with the Fire in Chicago a week ago while Chivas USA has lost two consecutive games, including a 3-0 loss to the Philadelphia Union last weekend. The Galaxy will be without two key players: forward Robbie Keane, who is playing with the Irish national team in two friendly matches and defender Omar Gonzalez, who’s with the U.S. national team in the World Cup.
