After the Lakers announced Mike D'Antoni's resignation on Wednesday evening, Magic Johnson took to Twitter to express his excitement.
Charles Barkley thought that was a low-class move and slammed Johnson for his public celebration on "Inside the NBA."
"Magic Johnson's bigger than that," Barkley said. "Magic Johnson's bigger than that. Listen, Mike D'Antoni is a good coach. They didn't give him a lot to work with. But Magic Johnson, he's bigger than that."
The Lakers went 27-55 this past season, setting the franchise record for most losses. But the team was riddled with injuries and superstar Kobe Bryant played in only six games.
