An NFL prospect can win his own island if he breaks the 40-yard-dash record at the combine

Run fast, win an island.

It’s really that simple.

Except the person running fast has to be doing it at the NFL scouting combine this week in Indianapolis, specifically during the 40-yard dash.

And that person must be wearing Adidas shoes at the time.

And, actually, just being fast isn’t good enough. This person has to run the fastest 40 in the history of the combine — in other words, break Chris Johnson’s record of 4.24 seconds, set in 2008.

And this person must agree to wear Adidas footwear and gloves for all of his rookie season.

Then, and only then, will this person receive his very own island.

Well, actually, the fine print says Adidas will provide the island “as soon as reasonably practicable.”

And Adidas also reserves the right to forget the whole island business and just give the guy $1 million instead.

Still sounds like a pretty good deal for some super speedy NFL prospect out there.
