Charlotte Hornets unveil new uniforms
The Charlotte Hornets name officially returns to the NBA next season, and the team formerly known as the Bobcats unveiled their new uniforms Thursday.
The new threads share few similarities to the uniforms Alonzo Mourning and Larry Johnson wore during the 1990s, offering a new take that meshes closely to the franchise’s new logo.
The Hornets’ white uniform is probably the closest ancestor to the team’s original look, featuring a slight teal-colored stripe that brings back a subtle reminder of the team’s previous logo of a dribbling hornet.
The other two purple- and teal-dominated uniform sets look very different from anything the previous franchise wore before moving to New Orleans and eventually becoming the Pelicans.
What do you think about the new uniforms?
