During Clippers Coach Doc Rivers’ post-game news conference following a victory over the Phoenix Suns on Monday night, he made a passing comment about the health of guards Chris Paul and Darren Collison.

But as it has turned out, Paul was feeling fine on Tuesday after feeling some discomfort in his right groin muscle during the Suns game.

Collison also was feeling better on Tuesday after he was hit in the groin area by Suns guard Goran Dragic during the game.

Both Paul and Collison will play Wednesday night when the Clippers host the Golden State Warriors at Staples Center.

What made Rivers concerned was when Collison got hurt in the fourth quarter and had to be taken to the locker room for treatment.

Paul was just leaving the locker room after getting treatment because he felt something tweaked in his groin.

“CP tweaks his leg so he came out,” Rivers said. “Then DC got hit in the wrong place, I guess is the best way I can say that, so then he comes out.”
