After an emotional, drama-filled game that led to two ejections, the Clippers are forced to turn their attention to playing a very good Portland Trail Blazers team Thursday night.

It’ll be interesting to see how Blake Griffin responds after he was ejected from the rumble-and-tumble Golden State Warriors game Wednesday night in Oakland. The Clippers lost, 103-105.

Griffin cannot afford to let his mind linger back to the Warriors game because he’ll be facing a tough opponent in power forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who is averaging 23.1 points and 11.0 rebounds per game.

The Trail Blazers are 23-5, tied with Indiana and Oklahoma City for the best record in the NBA.

Not only that, the Trail Blazers are 11-2 on their home court.

“We’ve got to move on and get to the next game,” Chris Paul said.

But as Paul looked back at the Warriors game, he took issue with the way Golden State played.

Draymond Green was called for a flagrant foul two for elbowing Griffin, and the Warriors reserve forward was ejected from the game.

Andrew Bogut was called for a flagrant foul one for his altercation with Griffin. Both Bogut and Griffin were given double technical fouls. Bogut was also given a foul on the play.

Because it was Griffin’s second technical, he was ejected from the game.

“All that rah-rah and acting like we’re going to fight…Ain’t nobody no Floyd Mayweather out here in our league,” Paul said. “At the end of the day, it’s about basketball between the lines, and they won.”
