Kevin Durant says he plays as LeBron James in NBA2K [Video]

Oklahoma’s Kevin Durant is a kid at heart even after seven seasons in the NBA; he still plays video games, including those from the NBA 2K series.

But playing as himself in those games would be arrogant, the 25-year-old superstar says.

So who does the 2014 NBA most valuable player use in the game?

“Alright, LeBron [James],” Durant told Jimmy Fallon Wednesday on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.”

Durant, a five-time NBA All-Star, knows what he’s doing as much on the court as he does in the video game.

In NBA 2K14, James had a player rating of 99 out of 100, while Durant was rated second with a 94.

“I’m really good, not decent,” said Durant of his gaming chops. Though he admitted to breaking “plenty of controllers” in frustration.

The latest version of the game, NBA 2K15, is set to be released on Oct. 7.

Durant and James will play actual basketball against each other on Dec. 11 in Cleveland.
