Watch S.F. Giants’ Madison Bumgarner chug six beers at once after NLCS

Share

Madison Bumgarner has done it again.

And I'm not talking about his solid eight innings on the mound Thursday night to help the San Francisco Giants defeat the St. Louis Cardinals, 6-3, to advance to their third World Series in five years.

I'm talking about this:

Yep, he did it. After chugging four beers at once after the Giants' wild card victory and five following their triumph in the National League division series, Bumgarner somehow managed to turn six open Budweisers upside down in the direction of his mouth after San Francisco wrapped up the NL championship series.

Oh, and Bumgarner also was named the NLCS MVP after going eight innings that night, retiring the last 13 batters he faced in an eight-inning effort. And that followed 7 2/3 innings of shutout ball during Game One, a 3-0 Giants victory.

So there's that.

But now back to this:

Note that some helpful teammate is doing his best to blind and/or drown the Giants star by also pouring some champagne in there at the same time (thank God for those goggles).

Which only goes to show there's room for even more alcoholic beverages in the ritual should Bumgarner and the Giants earn one more wild celebration by beating the Kansas City Royals in the World Series.

Just what that celebration would entail and would Bumgarner actually survive it ... well, we'll just have to wait and see.
