During goalie Mathieu Garon's two-year stint with the Kings from 2005-2007, one of his customized goalie masks went missing.

It was purple and featured an iron-clad knight on the side. It was a great fit for the Kings' purple jersey scheme until its disappearance.

On Wednesday, Garon finally located the missing mask -- for sale on EBay.

Garon's long-lost facial protector was listed for $2,200.

The seller, seeing Garon's tweet, reached out to apologize, saying he previously bought the mask off EBay and offered to reunite the mask with its former NHL net-minder owner. But Garon was a good sport about it and even offered to sign the mask for the seller.

The listing has since been taken down by the seller.

Garon played in 341 games over a 13-year career, recording a 2.83 goals against average.
