It hurts a lot for fans when their team loses the Super Bowl, but turning on other teams and fans doesn't go over well.

The Seattle Police are learning that lesson after the department tweeted on its verified account Sunday night that Seahawk fans now know what it feels like to root for the Denver Broncos.

The Seahawks beat the Broncos last year in the Super Bowl, so the police decided to turn the bitterness from Sunday's loss toward Denver fans.

Denver fans -- and even many who aren't Denver fans -- piled onto the department for what many called a "classless tweet."
