Washington Redskins team buses in accident on way to Vikings game
Team buses being used by the Washington Redskins were involved in a traffic accident on the way to TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis for Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings, the team confirmed.
Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon posted on his Twitter account photos of a cracked windshield on one of the buses. The damage occurred when it rear ended the other team bus. Garcon said no one on the team was injured in the collision, and the Redskins confirmed all the players and staff eventually made it safely to TCF Bank Stadium.
A police officer escorting the team buses suffered a leg injury during the accident, NFL.com reported.
