UCLA picks up two more commitments in 2017 recruiting class

UCLA added two more players to its 2017 recruiting class this week.

Jaylan Shaw, a defensive back from Corona Centennial High, announced his commitment Tuesday, and tight end Jimmy Jaggers from Roseville followed on Thursday. 

Shaw, 5-foot-11 and 170 pounds, chose the Bruins among scholarship offers from Boise State, Washington State and USC.

“This is only the beginning of my journey,” Shaw wrote on Twitter. 

Jaggers, 6-4, 230, listed Alabama, Michigan, Washington and USC among many offers.

“Beyond excited and grateful to have gone through this process and have these experiences,” Jaggers wrote on Twitter, adding that he would enroll at UCLA in January.
