Brett Hundley, who is preparing to play his last game as UCLA’s quarterback, was asked Wednesday if there was an NFL quarterback he patterned himself after.
Former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb was his choice.
“I talk to him at least once a week,” said Hundley, who faces Kansas State in the Valero Alamo Bowl here on Friday. “I’ve sort of learned from him and sort of developed things.”
McNabb had a similiar skill set as a player ... not to mention a similar hairstyle.
Running into McNabb was a chance encounter.
“He lives in Arizona and gets his hair cut at the same spot I do,” Hundley said.
Could be a Hollywood script. Call it, “Tiki Barber Shop.”
