Update: USC Coach Andy Enfield will make his home debut. Enfield’s first game didn’t go well — a 78-65 loss to Utah State in which the Trojans played poor defense, didn’t rebound well and failed to create enough turnovers. Northridge won its opener — Coach Reggie Theus’ debut — but not impressively, defeating Hope International, 86-74. The Matadors did manage one eye-opening stat, making 32 of 33 free throws, a school record. Both teams try to force turnovers on defense and push the pace on offense.
