Update: The Trojans have lost eight consecutive games and 13 of their last 14. Coach Andy Enfield said this week that junior forward Byron Wesley is expected to return to the lineup after being suspended for last week’s losses at Stanford and California for violating an unspecified team rule. Wesley is averaging a team-best 17.6 points and 6.9 rebounds a game. Wesley scored 24 points against Oregon State in a 76-75 loss to the Beavers on Jan. 30 at Corvallis, Ore. Oregon State guard Roberto Nelson is averaging 20.8 points a game, which leads the Pac-12 Conference. Senior center Angus Brandt averages 12.6 points for the Beavers, who have lost four of their last five games, including an 86-62 defeat by Washington last week.
