How USC 2016 commit Josh Imatorbhebhe compares with other Trojan receivers

Share

Josh Imatorbhebhe, a 2016 recruit from North Gwinnett High in Suwanee, Ga., signed a financial-aid agreement with USC earlier this week.

Interim Coach Clay Helton said Wednesday that the 6-foot-2, 205-pound receiver reminded him of sophomore JuJu Smith-Schuster and former Trojan Nelson Agholor.

“I think he brings a really physical nature,” Helton said. “His explosiveness, his ability to make the tough catches down field.”

Coaches were able to closely evaluate Imatorbhebhe when he made a trip to USC last summer to participate in Rising Stars Camp.

“You look at how big his body is, it looks like he’s been in college for three years already,” Helton said. “Extremely intelligent, instinctive football player.”

Imatorbhehe returned to campus this week for an unofficial visit and also will make his official visit.

His brother, Daniel, is a freshman tight end for the Trojans after transferring from Florida last August.

Imatorbhebhe is expected to enroll in January.
