Adoree’ Jackson selected Pac-12 Conference special teams player of week

USC’s Adoree’ Jackson, who returned a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown against Utah, was selected the Pac-12 Conference special teams player of the week, the conference announced.
Jackson, a freshman, scored during the second quarter of USC’s 24-21 defeat by Utah at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
Jackson’s return, which came after a Utah field goal, gave USC a 14-10 lead.
Jackson also had a 27-yard return after Utah scored a touchdown with eight seconds left.
Jackson is averaging 33.7 yards per kickoff return, which ranks fifth nationally.
Oklahoma’s Alex Ross is first at 38 yards per return.
