USC’s Nelson Agholor: ‘All I want to do is beat Cal’
USC wide receiver Nelson Agholor talks about preparing for Thursday’s game against California.
USC receiver Nelson Agholor has a narrow focus – California.
The Trojans play Cal on Thursday night at the Coliseum. Agholor said he has not looked beyond the Golden Bears to rivalry games against UCLA and Notre Dame and a pending decision about the NFL.
“We handled Washington State and now the only game in front of us, and the only important game, is California,” he said.
Agholor has 66 receptions for 863 yards and eight touchdowns. After the season, the junior could make himself available for the draft.
“I’m still worried about Cal right now,” he said when asked if he has thought about his decision. “All I want to do is beat Cal.”
