USC’s offensive line could start a new lineup for a second straight week when the Trojans play Utah on Saturday.

Left tackle Chad Wheeler remained sidelined during practice Wednesday because of concussion symptoms, interim Coach Clay Helton said. No timeline has been given for his return.

Right tackle Zach Banner has played left tackle in Wheeler’s absence. Freshman Chuma Edoga is at right tackle.

Last week against Notre Dame right guard Toa Lobendahn made his first start at center because Max Tuerk is sidelined for the season. Sophomore Viane Talamaivao started at guard.

The status of receivers Darreus Rogers and Steven Mitchell Jr. also is uncertain for Saturday.

“Right now it is 50-50 at best,” Helton said.

Rogers aggravated a hamstring injury against Notre Dame. Mitchell did not play because of an ankle injury.

Defensive lineman Claude Pelon will be sidelined because of a knee injury, Helton said.
