USC has turned to recruiting since the end of the season last Saturday in the Pac-12 championship game.
Several recruits are scheduled to make official visits to USC this weekend, including Oaks Christian receiver Michael Pittman, Gardena Serra defensive back C.J. Pollard and defensive lineman Oluwole Betiku, Mesa offensive lineman Nathan Smith, Huntington Beach defensive lineman Liam Jimmons and Glendora quarterback Matt Fink.
Pittman, Pollard and Smith each signed a financial-aid agreement with USC in September and are on track to enroll in January. The agreement is binding for the university, but not for the recruit.
Jimmons and Fink have committed to USC and there is a possibility that they also could enroll in January.
Betiku was once committed to UCLA but announced his decommitment in October. He made an unofficial visit to USC in November. Betiku has made official visits to Florida State, Texas A&M and Notre Dame.
USC has 14 players committed in its 2016 recruiting class.
The Trojans will play Wisconsin in the Holiday Bowl on Dec. 30.
