The whiskey library at the Suntory Yamazaki Distillery in Kyoto is among the stops on a private tasting tour in Japan.


Toast Japan’s culinary and distilling prowess with a private 12-day tour offered by Zicasso. Highlights include tours of the Miyagikyo Distillery, whiskey Distiller of the Year for 2015; the Suntory Yamazaki Distillery, visits to sake breweries in Kyoto and the ancient towns of Takayama and Kanazawa, and the Asahi and Minoh breweries in Osaka.

Also included are meals at restaurants that reflect Japan’s culinary heritage, including dinner at Giro Giro in Kyoto and at three-Michelin-star Sukiyabashi Jiro, among the best sushi restaurants in the world. Also included are private guided tours of Tokyo, Takayama, Kanazawa, Kyoto and Osaka.
