Let travel host Samantha Brown teach you all about cruising

Share

Hey cruise rookies, if you’re nervous about going on your first cruise, Samantha Brown can help. She’ll tell you what to expect, what’s included and what’s not included in a series of online videos you can watch anytime.

The “Travel Channel” host doles out advice online as part of a newly launched Carnival Cruises redesigned YouTube channel.

Five videos in the series “How to Cruise With Travel Pro Samantha Brown” provide a basic Cruising 101 course. Videos are about a minute long and allow users to click in to the next cruise topic.

And though Brown appears on the Carnival Breeze in the videos, her advice and information is good for any first-timer who wants to know what to expect on his or her inaugural sailing.

The videos are short and direct, and cover everything from dining on the ship, what to pack, how to travel with your family and more. One also covers cruising FAQs.

“While cruising is certainly fun and affordable, not everyone has sailed before so this new series is designed to answer questions and offer some tips for making the most of your time once you’re on board, all in a fun, entertaining and lighthearted way,” Brown says in the first video.

In addition, Carnival hosts an Away We Go website where you can read about cruise experiences written by travel and lifestyle bloggers, a Carnival statement says.

You can read up on the fine points of a Seuss Cruise or snorkeling adventures by reading firsthand accounts.

These videos and the Away We Go site are all good tools for information that applies to whatever cruise you choose. Bon voyage!
