Reader recommendation: Istanbul tour guide Arzu Tuna

We just returned from Istanbul and had Arzu Tuna as our guide. She was great and spoke perfect English. There were six of us, and she had us taking the local trams and ferries, visiting mosques, palaces, spice markets and the Grand Bazaar. We also went to the Asian side and saw things most local tourists do not. We ate in local restaurants, and she ordered lots of Turkish cuisine that we all got to taste and enjoy. She has been a professional guide for 20 years and is very patient, has lots of energy and really gave us a feel for the local culture. She will do as much or as little as you ask of her.
