A Cuba tour guide with an expert’s eye on art and architecture
I recently returned from visiting Havana and must share one of its best-kept secrets. He’s an American by the name of Michael Connors, who leads custom-tailored art and architecture tours in Havana and throughout Cuba. He has written several books that feature Cuba (“The Splendor of Cuba” and “Havana Modern”), and I can testify that his tours are truly exceptional. He guides people to unbelievably beautiful private homes, civic buildings and museums as well as the newest paladars (private restaurants), cafes, jazz and salsa clubs, emerging artists’ studios and renovated theaters.
